Telephone interviews are particularly appropriate for representative surveys, hard-to-reach target groups, and for conducting interviews that don't require presentations or product samples. Depending on the set of questions, telephone interviews can be conducted both quantitatively (as computer-aided CATI interviews) as well as qualitatively (with open discussion guidelines).
Certified Field Institutes
When collecting primary quantitative data, we work exclusively with institutes that conform to the quality standards set by ESOMAR, BVM, and ADM. In most countries we can turn to institutes with which we've already been collaborating for many years, and whose quality we can rely on 100%.
Should the scope of the project require us to work with a field institute in a country where we've not previously operated, our own on-the-spot project managers ensure that our quality standards are adhered to.
Trained Interviewers
When it comes to quantitative CATI interviews conducted by our field institutes, the interviewers receive detailed interview guidelines. Furthermore, they are personally trained for the specific project before the research commences, and are constantly supervised during the fieldwork phase.
At Vocatus, we generally use our own internal interviewers to conduct qualitative telephone interviews, and they also possess the necessary professional experience, expertise, and seniority for in-depth interviews at management level or B2B interviews.
Data of the highest quality is the basis for any good evaluation and successful recommendation. That's why we meticulously follow the data collection process and constantly check the consistency and reliability of the data even while the survey is still in progress, because we accept no compromises when it comes to checking the data and its quality. Otherwise we wouldn't be totally dedicated market researchers.
International Quality Control
Our field institutes in the various countries all work on a uniform technological platform we've provided them with, one that's suitable for any set of characters. Thus, for example, there's no problem in carrying out surveys in China or Japan.
All data is collected on the same system, and we're able at any time during the project to check the quality, consistency, and progress of the process online. This not only makes it easier to bring together the individual datasets from each country, but also makes it possible to carry out in-depth field checks that traditional systems cannot guarantee.
As the client, you can also request online access to our systems; in the case of international CATI and CAWI interviews, you can use the Internet to monitor current progress within the project for each individual country and each target group segment. It's also possible to use this to get real-time access to the results that are currently available.
